Genesis_15 - God Calls

Part 15:  God Calls  (Genesis 12:1-9)  After Babel, God turns "the nations" over to follow other lesser gods.  God turns his attention to a man named Abram.  God is going to start all over with Abram.  His descendants will be God's chosen people.  A people chosen to help bring about salvation and restoration for all of humanity.  Abram helps bring the worship of The One-True God back to the earth.  God calls, Abram listens and obeys the Word of the LORD.  

Genesis_14 - The Tower of Babel

Part 14:  The Tower of Babel  (Genesis 10-11)  Under the influence of dark spiritual beings, humanity chooses to go right back to doing what is evil in the sight of the LORD.  Several things happen at Babel that shapes the course of human history.  

Genesis_13 - The Flood & The Rainbow

Part 13:  The Flood & The Rainbow  (Genesis 8-9)  It rains for 40 days and 40 nights, the heavens release showers of judgment and the fountains of the deep burst forth.  Water is everywhere, humanity is judged, the earth is cleansed.  God makes a promise and gives a sign that still shines a reminder over us from time to time, especially after a storm.  

Genesis_12 - Noah, the Ark and the Flood

Part 12:  Noah, the Ark and the Flood  (Genesis 6-7)  Judgment is about to rain down.  God instructs Noah on how to save his family.

Part 11:  In the Days of Noah  (Genesis 6:1-12)  Things have spiraled down and it's not good.  Violence and immorality have taken over the world.

Genesis_09 - Two Kinds of People

Part 9:  Two Kinds of People  (Genesis 4:16-5:32)  Tying in with the prophecy from Genesis 3:15, there is a war between the snake people and the woman's people.  Lamech, part of Cain's family, comes front and center.  Chapter 5 ends with the mention of Noah.    

Genesis_08 - Cain & Abel

Part 8:  Cain & Abel (Genesis 4)  Our story picks up outside of the Garden.  Cain & Abel offer sacrifices to God.  Turns out, some sacrifices are received and others are rejected.  One did right and the other, well something seems wrong with his attitude.  God intervenes and has an interesting conversation with Cain.  Ignoring God's warning, Cain does the unthinkable.

Genesis_07 - The Consequences

Part 7:  The Consequences (Genesis 3:13-24)  The fallout from the rebellion is awful.  These consequences are still haunting us today.  But right in the middle of it all, God makes a promise.

Part 6:  The Fall (Genesis 3:1-13)  Everything changes in Genesis 3.  Deceived by the serpent, Adam & Eve make a catastrophic choice.
